About Us

The Past

Upon entering Bella Charca, you will notice a structure of an historic nature nestled upon a hilltop.  Four families settled on this, the second oldest land site in west Bell County in the late 1800's for some of the same reasons Bella Charca exists here today; plentiful wood (for cooking and heating), clean water (from natural springs), and abundant game.  The settler’s original home was actually located on the small knoll directly in front of the current standing structure.

John Blankenship's vision for Bella Charca is to preserve the harmony of nature and history of this area for generations to come.  The historical windmill is being preserved at the entrance for present and future Bella Charca residents to experience the history, so vital to this community.

The Present

The enormously successful Phase I of Bella Charca is nearing completion as the final section of 19 beautiful home sites develops.  Custom lots are available and Preferred Home Builders are offering a variety of new homes from which to choose or custom home sites to build on.

The Future

The updated Master Plan provides homebuyers choices in style, design and price with future amenities to include swimming pool, playground, additional water features, parks and green spaces with multiple interconnecting walkways. The natural spring-fed lake, already adorned with green space, benches, stone walkways, fountains and reflective lighting, will continue to offer residents the beauty, serenity and peaceful setting for relaxation and enjoyment of this on-of-a-kind community.

The Home Owners’ Association ‘Welcoming Committee’ will provide new neighbors with a wealth of information to quickly ‘bring them up to speed’ on community features, opportunities and covenants.  The periodic HOA newsletter will provide residents with opportunities to provide input for the future.

A ‘pocket park’ will be developed in the final section of Phase I, currently under construction, providing green space for homes in the eastern portion of the community.  Phase II development and construction, planned for summer of 2008, will include internal neighborhood access to Nolanville Elementary School and divert traffic from Phase I.
